Revive’ 25 was a refreshing experience for the Mount students who attended.

Mater Dei Chapel

On Feb. 3, many students gathered in the Mater Dei Chapel to hear Cate Kessler share her beautiful words on being daughters and sons of God. Her testimony was accompanied by worship performed by Elisa Sowah, Grace Muir, and Kenzie Browning. Revival was truly a life giving and altering event.

Mount Revival is a special experience because it is all student-led. A student is asked or they volunteer to share a message. Then we have students perform the worship. Something new we added this month was prayer partners. So, if something in the word or the message touched you, and you wanted to pray with someone, that was available to you.

Sowah was asked to share a few words regarding her involvement in the night. She said, “This was my first time singing in front of everyone, so I was a little nervous. However, it was a great experience once I got up there, and I was truly touched to see everyone responding to the words we were singing. This experience got me out of my comfort zone, and I feel like it was something everyone needed at the time, a true revival of our spirits!” I couldn’t describe the night more perfectly!

If you didn’t get to make this Revival, I have good news for you. On March 12 at 7:30 p.m. in the Mater Dei Chapel, we will be having another one! Champ Keysor will be bringing the Word. You don’t want to miss this amazing night of worship and testimony. See you there!
