Biography:

Erin Reder, M.A., is an adjunct professor in the undergraduate and graduate School of Education and a supervisor for graduate students in the Practicum in Evidence-Based Reading Instruction classes at 外网天堂. As an adjunct instructor, she helps students understand the role of phonics and linguistics in reading acquisition and instruction along with the assessment, instruction, and intervention for students with reading difficulties. Her role as a supervisor provides mentoring and supervision for graduate students using the Orton Gillingham approach with striving readers. Outside of her work at MSJU, Erin works as a literacy coach, and has previously been a K-5 reading specialist and a classroom teacher for grades two and three.
 
Erin holds a Masters Degree in Elementary Education with a Reading Endorsement (Xavier University) and Dyslexia Certification (外网天堂). Erin’s interests include early literacy, writing instruction, implementation science, and reading intervention.
